Excellent tribute to L.A. A city I lived 14.5 years and visited often growing up in Nor Cal (not No Cal), visiting family in Ladera Heights and Santa Monica. The food in L.A. is a foodies wet dream, not to mention the city could re-brand itself, "Food Truck City". And about those tsunami evacuation signs, a great action/sci-fi book "Lucifer's Hammer" describes a meteor raining hot alien rocks at L.A., a short passage describes a local surfer catching the mother of all waves, surfing the monster past Westwood.
