Stax Volt Records was the “other” big soul record label in the 60s and 70s. Their roster was much broader than Motown. Blues focused, the label also produced pop and R&B as well. This long lost mid 60s gem is a big miss by radio. Wendy belts out a soulful groovin’ vocal. A fun musical romp just right for a backyard celebration.
